My bedroom is the perfect getaway now

I ordered this bedding set based solely on seeing the pictures online. The blue in the setting is not as true blue as it would appear, it is more of a dusky smoke blue (with a bit of a greenish base to it). I have blue bedroom walls so I was concerned initially that it wouldn't work. I shouldn't have been concerned. The cream of the duvet cover is a definite yellow-based cream, rather than the whitish ivory of the pictures. It all works beautifully together. The quilting of the duvet cover is beautiful. And the silk is so soft, especially around the unquilted border. The fitted sheets are so large that they are the first that we have found that fit easily around our Sterns and Foster pillowtop mattress. I was a bit concerned about the dry clean only duvet, but that hasn't been an issue at all. In fact, I had an accident where some pink powder makeup was smeared across the duvet cover and it was easily cleaned with water and some light hand soap. Also, I love the set so much that I bought a second set to swap with when I have it in the cleaners. This was an extravagant purchase for me, but it is one I don't regret in the least! It is so nice to come home to such a restful, beautiful room to sleep and relax in.
