A bedding ensemble is the easiest way to change the look of a room. Enliven your bedroom decor with one of these coordinated, pre-assembled bedding sets.
Comforter Set: A comforter set includes a comforter, bedskirt and pillow sham(s).
Sheet Set: A sheet set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillowcase(s). Be sure to note the pocket size when purchasing sheet sets. Pocket size refers to the depth of the mattress the sheet can accommodate. Most standard mattresses are 12", most deep-sized mattresses are 15" and extra-deep mattresses are 18".
Bed-in-a-Bag: An easy and affordable way to outfit your whole bed, since it includes both a comforter set and a sheet set.
Coordinating window treatments and decorative accessories are usually offered to complement the bedding ensembles.
Components of bedding sets:
Comforter: Fashion comforters usually have a synthetic fill. They cover the top and sides of a mattress but do not cover the pillows or the boxspring and add color, pattern, and interest to a room as well as provide a layer of insulating warmth.
Quilts: A lighter alternative to comforters, quilts often feature a decorative pattern or print and are used in conjunction with pillow shams.
Duvet Cover: A pillowcase for comforters, a duvet cover is used to keep the duvet clean and allow for changes in bedding and decor.
Pillow Shams: These are decorative pillowcases with a tailored or ruffled edge. Sizes include standard 20" x 26", king 20" x 36" or European square 26" x 26".
Bedskirt: Also called dust ruffles, bed skirts are pieces of fabric with ruffle or tailored skirt on three sides. They are used to cover the boxspring and feature a standard drop of 14 ½".
