Michelle Obama's Style

Many cosmetic companies have been inspired by the allure of Hollywood’s most glamorous actresses and therefore have been busy creating new color collections claiming to bring out the star power in every woman.  The Fall/Winter 2012 season trend is showcasing bright pink and red lipsticks, beige eye shadows and teal fingernail polishes.

Even First Lady Michelle Obama donned the shiny lips, tan eye shadow and blue-gray nails with her pink dress during her speech at the Democratic National Convention last month classifying her as a style diva. But a woman doesn’t need to put on makeup every morning to look and feel beautiful. Imagine waking up from a deep sleep covered by this charming Nautica Sutter Creek Quilt:

The color scheme of pink and aqua is right on track for the feminine trends of the season, yet the plaid print gives this quilt just enough manliness so women can share their star power. And if you’re not into plaid patterns, this quilt is also reversible for a basic striped print. But sorry, that myth that stripes make you look thinner doesn’t apply in the bedroom.
