Behind The Scenes- Holiday Decorating Tips

Halloween costumes and decorations put away? Check.  Now it's on to Thanksgiving and Christmas!

With Thanksgiving falling the last week of November, we "technically" have three weeks and two days to get the house decorated, tree and lights up and gifts purchased and wrapped…whew!

I will be hosting both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, so I need to start making my lists and getting my home ready for the Holidays.

I found
this article from HGTV - Top 10 tips for Holiday Decorating which will make my life so much easier and hopefully will keep me from forget anything.

Here are my favorite tips from them:

Tip #2: Don't stop at the entry
Tip #6: It doesn't have to be expensive
Tip #8: Involve the whole family
Tip #9: Plan for the unexpected

I love the "Plan for the Unexpected", I have been in that situation many times and you would think I would learn, but great to be reminded and have it written down on paper.
Have  you started Holiday preparations? What are favorite tips to share?  I look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great week,
